We use present simple passive voice tense to talk about the actions of universal truth, daily activities and habitual actions. Same as active voice but the difference between is that we use the 3rd form of verb and object converts into a subject while subject converts into an object and for Active Voice Present Simple tense.

An action which happens again & again.

Formula: Object + Helping Verb + Verb 3rd
  • Cricket is played.
  • Clothes are washed.
  • The Car is driven.
Formula: Object + Helping Verb(is / am / are) + Verb 3rd(form)
