We use present Simple passive voice to talk about the actions of universal truth, daily activities and habitual actions. Same as active voice but the difference between is that we use the 3rd form of verb and object converts into an subject while subject converts into an object.

Repeated Action

An action which happens again & again.

Formula: Object + Helping Verb + Verb 3rd
  • Cricket is played.
  • Clothes are washed.
  • The Car is driven.
  • Negative: Cricket is not played.
  • Interrogative: Is cricket played?
  • Neg. Int: Is cricket not played?
Formula: Object + Helping Verb(is / am / are) + Verb 3rd(form)
