MODAL VERB SHOULD MEANING & EXAMPES

The Use of Should in Modal Verb is mainly used to give Advice or make recommendations, Suggestions, Order, Obligation and also to talk about probability and expectation.

We use Should have for the past and should be and should have been for logical sentences which are explained below. If we strongly advise to someone so we use Modal Verb Must.

Should + Verb

1st

It talks about Suggestions, Advice, Order & Obligation.

Formula: Subject + Should + Verb 1st(form) + Object
  • You should come on time.
  • He should go to school.
  • We should speak English.
Formula: Subject + Should + Verb 1st(form) + Object
Note: The main verb can never be the to-infinitive. We cannot say: He should to go.
